Kadala curry (bengal gram)

Kadala (Chenna dal) 2 cups
Onion 1,chopped,garlic 4 cloves chopped,green chilly 2,sliced,curry leaf 1 sprig
salt to taste
Masala
Chilly powder 1tspn,coriander powder 2 tspn,pepper powder 1tspn,turmeric powder 1/3tspn,
garam masala 1/4tspn
Coconut milk 1cup
Seasoning
Cooking oil 2tspn,mustard seeds 1/2 tspn,dried chilly 2,curry leaf 1 sprig
Pressure cook kadala,onion,garlic,green chilly,salt and curry leaf.
Heat oil in a shallow pan,drop in dried chilly,mustard,allow to pop,add curry leaf,
simmer flame ,add masala except garam masala,stir,add cooked kadala mix,combine well,
adjust salt,add coconut milk,garam masala,mix well and remove from flame.
