Chutney rice

Chutney powder preparation
Urd dal 2 tblspn,grated coconut 1/4 cup,chilly powder 1 tspn,asafoetida powder 1/2tspn
curry leaf 1 sprig,black pepper powder 1/4tspn,salt to taste
Fry urd dal,coconut with curry leaf seperately,powder it in a mixi,add rest of the ingredients,
mix well,keep aside
Basmathi rice 3 cups cooked in 6 six cups water,run a fork through rice,to keep rice seperate.
Peanuts 1tblspn,tamarind concentrate 3/4tspn,dried red chilly 1,curry leaf 1 sprig,salt to taste,
cooking oil 1 tblspn
Heat oil in a wok,drop in peanuts,fry till golden brown,add curry leaves,red chilly,saute,simmer
flame add chutney powder,tamarind,salt and mix well.Add rice combine thoroughly so that each
and every rice get coated with chutney mix.Remove to serving bowl.
