Gooseberry pickle

Goose berry steamed and cut into thin lengthwise pieces 1 cup
Chilly powder 2 tspn
Asafoetida powder 1/3 tspn
Fenugreek powder 1/4 tspn
Jaggery powder 1 tblspn
Gingelly oil 1 tblspn
Salt as required
Rub gooseberry with with salt and the powders and keep for 3 hrs.
Heat oil in a pan, simmer flame drop in gooseberry mix ,commbine
well ,off flame,allow to cool and store in air tight glass bottle.
